“There is so much that is uncertain and unknown.

Life is on hold, plans are on hold, as we sit in this uncertainty and try to protect what is now.”

I wake up wondering how many days will start off the same, with dissolving boundaries and schedules, and ever changing guidelines for our safety. It's hard to fight something we cannot see, and even harder when we cannot measure its reach. Under these circumstances, the idea of community feels confused.

We are told to sequester ourselves in loneliness and isolation in order to care for those around us. And at the exact same moment, people selfishly and frantically stockpile "necessities" to ensure their safety without regard for others.
