MiA Collective Art is pleased to present a video art exhibition, CONCEPT NOW, in this year's Beijing Design Week (BJDW) from September 23 to October 7, 2016. The exhibition will present the works by eight emerging artists, Haley Bueschlen, Alison Chen, Alicia Eggert, Leif Huron, MarieVic, Yi Xin Tong, Qi You, and Yichen Zhou, focusing on nonlinear narrative documentaries, records of self-behavior, symbolic repetition of pop culture and abstract geometry in motion. The messages of reality and the concepts of “What is happening NOW” will be delivered through the eyes of the artists and their moving images of motion.

Beijing Design Week is a national large-scale annual cultural event and international creative design event held in Beijing. The theme of 2016 Beijing Design Week is "Design 2020, composed of nine main sections, namely opening ceremony, themed exhibitions, host city, classic design award, Beijing design forum, design market, creative design service meeting, international design trade fair and design hop. Covering various culture creativities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Beijing Design Week displays and presents the innovative achievements of integrative development among culture creativities, design services and correlated industries.
